About Me
I am an environmental health scientist interested in exploring the health effects of environmental risk factor exposures (e.g., air pollution and climate change-related exposures), the underlying pathophysiologic pathways, and environmental health risk mitigation strategies.
I have been studying the cardiopulmonary health impacts of exposures to air pollutants, including ozone, ozone reaction products, PM2.5, and nitro-polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons. I also explored the role of melatonin in pathophysiologic responses to air pollution exposure.
